Verify news

How verifying works

1. 01

You bring the article — we stamp the claim

Paste any news URL. FinchFile’s desk opens it and stamps Real, No Proof, or Depends — same rules as the wire, with a brief and reasons.

2. 02

Desk stamp, not a chatbot reply

This is a published claim test, not a throwaway chat answer. Already stamped? You get the existing record — votes and all.

3. 03

   Lives on your sent board

Signed in? Every story you paste lands on Stories you sent. Track the stamp. Share the record.

4. 04

   Can hit today’s public board

If the desk ranks it high enough — claim, photo, grade — it can appear on the public board with everything else. Same leaderboard. Same standards.
