FinchFile (finchfile.com) helps you match real paint colors to a room photo.
Room photos
Color is measured from pixels in your browser. A short-lived copy of the photo may be sent for scene context only (room type / lighting — never to invent a paint color). Image bytes are discarded immediately after that request and are not stored or logged. We may keep the resulting match JSON (hex, LAB, catalog hits) briefly so you can open a results link.
Accounts, email, payments
If you sign in (Clerk), subscribe, or pay (Stripe), those providers process account and payment data under their terms. We do not store full card numbers.
Ads and analytics
Google AdSense may show ads on some pages. We keep ads off the upload and results flow. Analytics and security logs (IP, user agent) may be collected for reliability and abuse prevention.
API / ChatGPT
Authenticated API and MCP calls send analysis JSON or color queries — not your photo — unless you use the site upload flow.
