By using FinchFile (finchfile.com / app.finchfile.com), you agree to these terms.
1. The service
FinchFile helps you preview Excel-related data issues and download typed .xlsx files. Preview features may be free. Downloads require a paid credit ($5 per file) or an active Pro subscription ($19/month), unless we offer a promotion.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must have rights to the files you process.
- You are responsible for verifying output before relying on it for finance, legal, or production use.
- Do not abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass payment or usage limits.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. We may suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, or non-payment.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. File credits are one-time purchases. Pro renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel anytime via Account → Stripe Customer Portal; access continues through the paid period. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.
5. Intellectual property
FinchFile branding, software, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. Your data remains yours.
6. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that every Excel edge case will be detected or fixed.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
8. Termination
You may stop using FinchFile anytime. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
